Prerequisites

To connect Shortcut to DX, you need:

Follow the steps below to connect Shortcut to DX.

Step 1

Create a Shortcut service account that will be used for DX. Grant the user access to projects that you want to import.

Step 2

Once signed in to the service account, browse to account settings and generate a new API token.

Step 3

  1. Navigate to the new connection form in DX.

  2. Enter the credentials you have generated in the previous steps—refer to the information below for errors and troubleshooting.

Description

invalid_credentials

Your API credentials entered are not valid.

invalid_permissions

Your API token does not have the permissions required by DX.

no_resources

Your service account does not have access to any projects or repositories.
