Sumo Logic is a cloud-based platform for real-time monitoring, management, and analysis of machine data and logs. By connecting Sumo Logic with DX, you can analyze SLOs, monitors and SLI values. Please visit our schema explorer to see what data DX imports.

Prerequisites

To connect Sumo Logic to DX, you need:

  • Access ID

  • Access Key

Setup instructions

Follow the steps below to connect Sumo Logic to DX.

Step 1

To generate Access ID and Access Key, go to Preferences > Personal Access Keys > Add Access Key:

Step 2

  1. Navigate to the connections page in DX and select "+ Connection" in the top right.

  2. Enter the credentials you have generated in the previous steps—refer to the information below for errors and troubleshooting.

Description

invalid_credentials

Your API credentials entered are not valid.

invalid_permissions

Your API token does not have the permissions required by DX.

no_resources

The provided credentials does not have any SLOs or Monitors.
